Home before the holidays

I have to agree with my sister, if it is going to be cold - make it cold and snowy. But the last few days have been warm and pleasant. We've been busy helping take care of Mom post-surgery. It's a good excuse to dote on our Momma. But now that she is feeling better, she has been getting us busy with some of her bigger jobs, yesterday was spent cleaning the garage. The day before was my big project where Mom helped me. I needed to move a big farm tractor 50 miles across the hills. Once we got the tractor road worthy, I drove it 5 hours over the back highways and down the main street of two rural towns. Talking about fun! We actually drove it the last hour in the dark with no lights on the tractor, using a flashlight for a marking light and the 4Runner's headlights to drive by. It was emotional to get the tractor home, a good day!

But today a cold front has arrived here and it is snowing north of here towards Mom. I spent today delivering an air compressor and generator to a friend of mine. Then I enjoyed seeing some of the scenery around Beaver Lake and War Eagle. But those pictures will have to wait til next time. I wanted to show some pictures of family. Feeling warm and fuzzy.
