June is gone . . .

June is gone and I never got around to posting. I didn't realize a whole month had gotten away from me again. In the midst of living, I forgot to record any of it here. Not that I give you much for details anyways. Especially true these days when I have been notably silent about some of the most important things in my life. But that is my revenge against the web anyways. The web should be the last one to know some thoughts and happenings.

Thanks Duane for the great photo boondoggle. One of these days, I hope to pause and see what my pictures look like on the computer screen. But these will have to do from spring.

Hello,
I came across your blog by looking for weather conditions in my little part of the world Colcord Ok. I have no idea who you are, but you seem to be a very melancholy Christian. I'm a melancholy Christian also but there is a Irish/Scottish proverb that keeps me well grounded. It says:
The best things are nearest...
Breath in your nostrils; light in your eyes, flowers at your feet; duties at your hand, the path of God just before you...
Then do not grasp at the stars; but do life's plain common work as it comes...Certain that daily duties and daily bread are the sweetest things of life...Houghton
In other words, live this day to it's fullest, relish the breath that you have, touch the world around you whether it be huge or small. Small is the best, it gives you the inspiration to live bigger! God Bless You.
